Sharing the Bling

A couple weeks ago I was gifted with a gift certificate to purchase "something fun" that caught my eye. I began perusing catalogs for horse supplies, and when I turned to a photo of a lovely sparkly browband, I knew what to get! I couldn't wait for it to arrive, and as luck would have it, it got here just in time for me to put it on Downsize's bridle for the taping of the musical freestyle we would enter in the online show. As luck would also have it, my granddaughter Grace was here when I brought out the bridle and browband in order to put them together. Here eyes lit up when she spotted that browband.

After admiring it for a few moments, I could see the wheels turning, and she asked if she could borrow it to put on her own horse, Zhelah, for her dressage test. She has not perfected the test yet, but she ran through it today, despite the cool, snowy, blustery weather. I may just need to spring for more bling so Grace and Zhelah can have their own sparkly browband!
